Carbon Cleaning with EP-350B

Finally, the inside of an engine can be cleaned of carbon deposits in a totally non-invasive procedure, using a simple, safe, environment-friendly 40-minute method. The Process

The process for carbon cleaning using EP-350B is quite simple.

The EP-350B is connected to the engine's intake manifold via a vacuum hose. Water and carbon can be seen from the tailpipe after the 40-minute procedure has been completed and the engine revved to blow out residual material.

The Evidence

What follows are detailed emissions results before, during and after the carbon cleaning process was done on a number of cars. As you can see, every car yielded different results. This is of course due to a number of reasons, such as, overall engine age and component condition, the amount of carbon build-up, type of engine, etc. While some vehicles show greater emission improvement than others, the overall trend is very positive indeed.

Purpose and Expected Results

As unwanted carbon deposits tend to build up inside the combustion chambers of internal combustion engines over time, your engine's performance fades, fuel consumption rises and exhaust emission levels worsen.

This process is intended to clean away these deposits and restore engine performance, increase throttle response, as well as lower exhaust emission levels. Because of cleaner burning inside the combustion chambers and lower friction interference, fuel consumption levels are also expected to drop as a result. The service life of engine may be extended significantly.

We recommend repeating this procedure once or twice a year. Depending on vehicle usage and mileage, more frequent cleaning operations might be desirable, especially with older vehicles, areas where the quality of fuel is a problem, or in vehicles operating under extremely harsh conditions.

Operational Requirements

Other than the normal operational requirements for the EP-350B Oxy-Hydrogen generator, which include power, water and sufficient air ventilation, this procedure requires a suitable petrol/gasoline or Diesel engine to clean and hoses and/or pipes to connect the gas outlet to the engine's air intake manifold via a suitable vacuum hose. Also, please make sure to have sufficient fuel supply to the engine available to run it for the intended process time.

The EP-350B is ideally suited for normal sedan engine displacement volumes for a standard processing time of 40 minutes. On smaller engines, it is essential to monitor the engine temperature continuously, and restrict gas flow as needed to prevent overheating. Raw Energy also supplies carbon deposits removal systems for scooter and motorcycle engines, as well as larger vehicles, such as buses and heavy-duty trucks. Furthermore, we also provide Oxy-Hydrogen generator units for permanent installation on road vehicles, for the purpose of reducing exhaust emission levels, burning the fuel more efficiently and keeping the engine in better maintenance condition.


Where was the technology invented?

Although the basis for our product is electrolysis, which has been around for years, our innovative approach to integrating components and a patented design comes from Taiwan.

Can you explain a little about the cleaning process? That is, how does the Raw Energy machine actually remove carbon deposits?

The oxygen-hydrogen mixed gases that are produced from water by our generator, burn at virtually 100% efficiency; meaning there is no waste and zero pollution. When this gas is introduced into a vehicle's engine, at high concentration, it causes several things to occur. The first thing it does is allow the traditional petrol or diesel fuel/air mixture to become significantly enhanced; thus greatly improving combustion. This creates greater turbulence inside the combustion chamber. The temperature also increases, but since the total process of combustion occurs faster, the engine temperature remains about the same. When oxy-hydrogen is combusted, the only bi-product is extremely high temperature steam. Therefore, when you combine these characteristics (enhanced combustion and burning efficiency, increased turbulence burning temperature and speed, and the bi-product of steam), the process acts similar to a steam cleaner for the inside of your vehicles engine. This by the way, is done using no harmful or polluting chemicals (like other treatments on the market). These attributes quickly remove the soft carbon deposits inside the engine. Soft carbon is the relatively newer deposits caused whenever you drive your car. However, our system does a much more difficult chore; it penetrates and loosens the hard carbon deposits, those that have been baked on over many months of driving. Typically, chemical based additives are ineffective at his, but our system handles it easily, during a simple, clean, environment-friendly 40-minute process. Under most circumstances, all the soft carbon is immediately eliminated. The hard carbon, having bee penetrated and destabilized during the carbon cleaning procedure, is eliminated when you drive you car during the week or two after the process is done to your vehicles. Our carbon cleaning system is extremely effective, efficient and affordable.

Is it as effective as additive-based cleaners?

Our engine carbon cleaning system is much more effective than additives, which must be used every time you refill you tank. Instead of getting mediocre results from week after week of adding chemical cleaners into you fuel tank, our procedure thoroughly cleans away carbon deposits, and your engine will stay clean for month. It is eco-friendly and is not harmful to the car and the environment.

Apart from lower emissions, what are some of the benefits your customers can expect to see after their engines have been cleaned?

Customers can expect a smoother, more powerful driving experience. Dynamometer tests have shown increase in horsepower and torque of up 11% (obviously, result will vary according to the age, mileage and overall condition of your engine). Most noticeable is low-end power, stronger starts from a stoplight, smoother acceleration, and a more responsive throttle. Since carbon deposits are detrimental to engine efficiency and performance, customers should also see better fuel economy from a cleaner engine. That means less money at the pump. We could all use that benefit. One other benefit worth mentioning is in enhancing the service life of your engine. Eliminating carbon deposits will reduce friction and wear of expensive internal engine parts, so your engine will run better and longer than if you let carbon deposits remain.

Most cars in Singapore are pretty new; would they really benefit from decarbonisation? From what age or mileage would you expect to see a loss in performance due to carbon build-up?

When lead-free petrol was the first introduced many years ago, it contained a high level of detergent additives. However, that is not the case today. And no matter how efficient diesel engines are, they simply cannot burn efficiently enough to prevent rapid carbon build-up. Singapore has its share of high traffic congestion, which also adds greatly to the build-up of carbon deposits. We have actually seen a 6-month old BMW diesel blowing out black smoke. After carbon cleaning there was no smoke, and almost no smell of diesel either. The fact is that fuel quality, traffic conditions, and driver habits all play a part in how quickly carbon deposits are build up inside your engine. With daily stop-and-go driving through the beautiful but crowded Singapore streets, carbon deposits are fact of life. Eliminating them by using our environment-friendly method will let you get more environment form your car, and maybe even a higher trade-in value. After the engine carbon clean the difference is felt immediately.

Some fuel brands (e.g. Shell) claim that their fuel have detergent agents which already remove carbon build up from valves, piston crowns and so on. Is it still necessary to do additional decarbonisation?

This is absolutely true. But, what they don't tell you is that the amounts of these detergents is not what they used to be. Detergent additives cost money and drain profits; so it is a delicate balancing act on the part of oil companies to look at way to stay in business while trying to give their customers a quality product. Unfortunately, the fact is that there simply is not as much detergent in the fuel you buy as there used to be. And increases in carbon deposits are the hidden extra price consumers pay over time. However, not all petrol/fuel has this detergent agents and the effectiveness may be different from our process.
